Expert Care for Bones, Joints & Movement

Our visiting orthopaedic surgeons provide specialist support for complex injuries and conditions, helping you move with confidence again.

For more information please call The Injury Hub on 8522 4232 or the Wakefield Orthopaedic Clinic on 8236 4100 or visit www.woc.com.au

A doctor referral is needed to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon, however if you have any further questions please contact our friendly reception who will be able to further assist.

Orthopaedic surgeons are doctors who diagnose and treat conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, and tendons. They can help when injuries are complex, ongoing, or may need surgical treatment.

When seeing an orthopaedic surgeon, it doesn’t always mean you have to have surgery. Depending on the injury and condition it may be recommended to trial conservative treatment, injection therapy or further scanning before surgery is performed. If surgery is an option it may include minimally invasive, arthroscopic or reconstruction surgery.

Our orthopaedic surgeons can assist with:

  • Sports injuries such as ligament or cartilage damage

  • Shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle conditions

  • Arthritis and other joint issues

  • Fracture care and recovery

  • Advice on whether surgery is the right option
